Ahh, It’s that time of year again. The time of year when we all slowly start to wake up from the winter slumber only to get pummeled by another major winter snow storm. That’s the way it happens here on the East Coast, but it’s all good as spring is only a few short weeks away. With that said, I wanted to start thinking about all the really cool toys that ThinkFastToys.com has available right now, so everyone can get an early jump and be ready for the first awesome day of Spring.

With 2 warehouses stocked to the ceiling with product, it wasn’t really an easy task to find all of these toys, but it had to be done. To me , Spring means getting outside and enjoying life  and all the wonderful things that the Eastern Shore of Delmarva has to offer. So the toys on this list are toys that ANYONE with a back yard, city park , or if your super lucky like us, having a beach to play on too, could easily use.  To make it easy, each photo is a link to the products we think you’ll enjoy. So let’s get going ……

Top 10 Toys for Spring 2010

1.) Aerobie Frisbee’s – Aerobie Toys are super cool frisbee’s, soft play footballs and mega tops. These are the perfect outdoor toy and the best part is that the whole family can play together.

2.) Ball Play – This was a pretty vast category as we have all sorts of neat ball play toys. The Yackle ball is probably the most unique of the bunch, but dont forget to check out the Helium filled Rocket Balls/Comet Balls or the super cool Switch Pitch and the always awesome O-balls.  All of these super cool ball play toys will keep the kids happy for hours.

3.) Kites – Kites have been a classic outdoor play staple for hundreds of years. Although, we don’t condone playing in a lightning storm like Ben Franklin. Let’s keep it safe. If you have a park, spacious backyard or beach, take advantage of those open areas and great windy days and go fly a kite. We have a quite a few great styles, so everyone is sure to have a blast.

4.) Zip Lines – When I was a kid and I saw the movie Goonies, one of the kids escaped his house by using a Zip Line. I always thought it would be awesome to have one of my own. Now you can. We have 3 different styles for varying ages and weights. You gotta check these awesome toys out!!

5.) Outdoor Ride-On Vehicles – One of my favorite things to do with my son Aiden, is to watch him ride his Radio Flyer Tricycle. We have a quiet neighborhood and we can ride for hours, which is great. All of these outdoor riding toys are wonderful and you gotta check them out!!

6.) Classic Games – Classic games such as Hopscotch, Jacks, Marbles, Jumping Rope and Pick Up Stix have been played for years both indoor’s and out. These are fun games that can be played almost anywhere and anytime. The best part is that they all allow you to play with friends and family. There’s nothing better than family time.

7.) Hop Balls – Hop balls have always been an elementary school staple. I remember playing on them all the time during recess and sometimes even in gym. I had so much fun with them and we would even have races. It takes a lot of energy to play with these, so in the end, your kids will get an awesome workout!!

8.) Stomp Launchers & Rockets – Stomp Rockets and Stomp Launchers are a lot of fun. We offer various models and styles from some really great vendors. We even have some launchers for the little kids in the family. Happy launching !!

9.) Rubberband Guns & Cap Guns – Playing cops-n-robbers or cowboys and indians has been a childhood past-time for over 60 years and I’m positive if we researched it, probably even longer. With that said, these are some really great toy guns that you can feel comfortable letting your little ones use. For those that live in New York State, New York City and the state of California, we have sections for each of you with a wonderful variety of toy guns that we are allowed to ship to you.

10.) Juggling Stix – I was never able to master these while at summer camp as a kid, but a few of my friends got really good at it. Juggling Stix take some practice , but once you’ve mastered it, they are loads of fun. Do you have what it takes??

Okay, so there is the list for the Top 10 Toys for Spring 2010. I’ve shown you a ton of awesome products that your kids will most definitely love to have and play with. The best part for us parents, is that all of the toys in the list get your kids outside and active. There aren’t too many things better than a quiet house because everyone is outside having a blast. I hope the list helps make some of those hard toy buying decisions a little easier to handle and that everyone enjoys playing with these great toys!!
