As a kid, you always looked forward to snow days, Christmas break, summer vacation, spring break, etc … But when you found out that one of your friends were having a birthday party, all bets were off!! The great thing about birthday parties, is that they are known to be a good time. Not only do you get cake and ice cream, but people bring you presents. But when you have a house full of kids, you gotta find ways to keep them occupied for more than 15 minutes.
Duck, Duck, Goose is a time old classic that I believe all of us have played quite a few times over the years. It’s always a fun game to play with your friends and depending on how big your circle is, a real challenge to win. You will probably have to play this one outside where you have plenty of room to run and to be able to play safely.
It’s an easy game to play as you have the children sit in a circle. One child is chosen to be the “goose” and that person will walk around and tag each person on their head. As this is happening, each child is called a “duck”. The original “goose” will then tag 1 person to be the next “goose”. Once that person is tagged, the original “goose” must run around the circle and try to sit in the spot where the new “goose” was sitting without being tagged.
